Black and Gold Collide

Its been a pretty busy week for me and more busy weeks coming(whew!) I wasnt able to check or update my blog:( but now I'm back:) I miss you all Fashionistas <3

I'm keeping it simple and classy for this outfit with colors of black and little touch of gold.. Im wearing a black sleeveless dress with a gold side strips.. I bought this dress from a Bazaar last December.. With the first sight, I already fell inlove with it..  It defines classy  with its simple and plain black color and it also shows a flirty side with its gold strip design on the side of the dress.. Then, I matched it up with my Gucci studded heels together with my long gold spikey bracelet and Tory Burch orange block gold ring.. Lastly, I added summery/spring-ish accessory with my collar beaded necklace from Nastygal. Then, threw out a flirty wavy or curly hair that adds more drama or flirty feel for this outfit.. Definitely a perfect way to go for a date outfit:)

If your going out on a date or meeting a new guy, I believe that its much better to stay classy and simple.. Don't overdress or over accessories- A No-No! Men wants to see the real you and date the real you. You don't have to pretend to be someone else by dressing differently or not your style. The outfit and dressing up prettily is a big plus and good impression on a date but the personality what makes you even more attractive..

Boston in Bloom

First Day of Spring in the USA! I wanna see the blooming of fresh flowers <3 I super duper miss Manchester, Boston and Nashville :( Those three cities have a very special place in my heart and an experience that I will never forget.

Manchester, New Hampshire - the place where I studied for a year to complete my Bachelors Degree for Hospitality Administration.
Boston, Massachusetts - the place that really captured my heart and would love to live there.
Nashville, Tennessee - the place where I had my one year internship requirement for my Bachelors Degree.

Each city gave me a different impression, different feelings, and different experience. I've met lots of new friends that helped me out throughout my stay in the US. I'm really grateful to all those people I've met there and hopefully to visit them this coming fall or next Spring <3

On the other hand, to start and join the Spring Love in the US. I named my outfit "Boston in Bloom." I decided to wear my super long baby pink maxi skirt from Forever21that I bought last year. Instead of wearing it as a skirt, I wore it as a long flow-ish dress then belted it with my pink metallic braided belt. You can always reinvent your clothes and wear them in a different way. Take your old clothes and then try your own DIY and make it on trend again. You'll never know, maybe that will be the start of your own fashion shop. Back on my outfit, to add more blooming feel on my outfit, I topped it up with my 3D Floral Jean Studded Jacket that I bought in Bangkok. Then, walked it out with my Studded Lita from http://www.facebook.com/Giftsahoytoo. For my finishing touch for my Boston in Bloom outfit, I added a flower ring from Marc Jacobs Perfume;)

No matter what the weather is like outside in your place, always keep a sunny and bright heart - or at least filled it with good and warm energy during your bad day. The spring in your step and your cheery smile should brighten things up for everyone around you <3 Have a Great Weekend <3

True Colors

Oh, I like Red, its the color of an apple, Orange, Its the color of an orange, Yellow, its a lemon and a wonderful sun, sun, sun.... Green, its the color of the trees and lots of things that grow and then there's Blue for the sky and Purple a color thats fun, fun, fun..... Do you remember this song? Its the children's Rainbow song :) Haha :)) I just felt singing and sharing it to you guys as SUMMER is officially here in the Philippines! The Heat is on! RAINBOW + SUMMER together = AWESOME! Its the season of SKIN ;)

On the other hand, were you able to watch "500 Days of Summer?" Its one of the best romantic comedy movie I've watched and hello, it's Zooey Deschanel <3 If you haven't watched it, I definitely recommend it! Okay, enough with my drama and lets talk about my outfit for today ;) Since its a bright sunny day outside, I decided to blend in with the sun and sky and to even brighten up the day. I call this blouse the ''butterfly effect'' as the design of this loose blouse when you spread your arms up looks like the wing of the butterfly. You can see the effect on one of my photo. I bought this blouse from a small shop in a flea market here in the Philippines, it only costs $15. My orange blouse represents the bright smiley sun:) Then, my blue eyelet skirt represents the sky. I also bought it from the same flea market that cost for only $13. Remember, in a flea market you can always bargain to ask for a lower price thats why I love to shop there <3 Lots of great fashionable items <3 I paired it then with my two-tone Coach bag. If you will look closely in the picture, you will see that the front side is color pink and the back side is orange. Isn't it cute? Lastly, I walked out my orange pump heels from http://www.makemechic.com to complete my True Colors outfit <3

Who's ready for a Hot Summer Getaway? or Sweet Spring Break? Have a blast on your vacation and Take Care guys <3

P.S. I tried a PFX 5 filter for this photo, just trying to invent;)

PASSION for FASHION Part I

It was back in 2010, when I got inspired to go for my passion for FASHION! I attended the Louis Vuitton Trunks and Toys Exhibit in Manila and as I was looking around the exhibit, a photographer approached me and asked if they could take a picture of my outfit. Of course, I said "YES!" I had no clue that it was from STYLEBIBLE.PH that time. It's a very popular website for fashion here in the Philippines and covers the PREVIEW magazine. After 2 weeks, my friend sent me a message telling me to check out stylebible.ph because I was featured there and I was like are you sure it was me? (haha) So, I checked it  and voila! It was really me. Starting the day, I told myself I should really go for my dream to become a fashion designer/stylist.

I started out with Lookbook.nu, posting my outfit ideas then in Instagram. Some of my friends from LB and IG encouraged me to start doing my blog, and thats how I ended up to finally start it! Here are some of my Lookbook Outfits <3 Love Y'all!

Simple Doll Make-up

MAKE UPS and BRANDS
1. ZO SKIN HEALTH OCLIPSE by ZEIN OBAGI, MD - I fristly apply this one, a great sunscreen thats has SPF 30 + makeup primer. It features natural melanin and broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. It's smooth, it has a medium shade, and it doesn't clog your pores. I don't use foundation at all because for me, its irritating in the skin and it clogs your pores that causes pimples. I only use foundation once in a while for a big events. For my everyday look, I only use sunblocks to protect my skin from sun damages. Oclipse is the best sunscreen+makeup product I have ever used and I definitely recommend it. You don't have to use foundation, just the Oclipse Primer, your skin will be perfect to go out and it's something you'll want to use everyday.
2. LIOELE WATER DROP BB CREAM - Then, I apply BB Cream that moisturizes your skin and has a SPF 27. The coverage of this product is very light, it keeps the skin soft and it feels so clean and good in your skin. This is the first BB Cream I have tried, I love it and will always be my favorite BB. I  don't use BB cream everyday, I only use it depending on my mood :)
3. SHISEIDO SUN PROTECTION COMPACT FOUNDATION - This is the last one that I apply that has a SPF34.  It brings a natural makeup matte finish and also provide smooth touch without any pore-clogging. It is also highly water-resistant.

Number 1 and 3 are the ones that I use everyday when I go out :) We have to protect our skin from the sun :)
4. The Balm Nude'Tude Feeling Naughty that has 12 beautiful shadows that I really love <3
5. NYX Triple Eye Shadows- My favorite Trio Statement Shades. One word for NYX - AWESOME!
6. URBAN DECAY Eye Shadow Primer Potion - Who wouldn't love Urban Decay? They have amazing makeups. This is one of the best product of UB, a long lasting eyeshadow base. If your going out for all day, you definitely have to use this to keep up your gorgeousness.
7. BENEFITS BOI-ING - I use the light/medium concealer thats perfect for covering dark circles, blemishes, and shadows.
8. CHANEL PRECISION EYELASH CURLER - THE BEST!
9. FAIRYDROPS PLATINUM WATERPROOF MASCARA - My newly discovered Mascara:) I SUPER LOVE IT! If you want to achieve a statement or dramatic eyes - this is the one! It contains 5 kinds of treatment essence to beautify and repair eyelashes. It gives extra volume and long eyelash result, strong against humidity, waterproof against water, sweat and tear, you can use this even in the ocean and pool - no mess or smudges, and it keeps the lashes curl up all day long. My new favorite mascara! You should try it <3
10. STILA STAY ALL DAY WATERPROOF LIQUID EYELINER - I use the jet black. My favorite liquid eyeliner other than Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner. It so easy to use and goes smoothly. Its a perfect waterproof liquid liner that has quick dry precision and it doesn't smudge.
11. DOLLYWINK EYELASHES - To achieve a DOLL LIKE LOOK - this is the best one to use! I Love all their products! Super cute and adorable <3
12. DUO Eyelash Adhesive (white/clear)
13. BENEFITS Lip-Cheek Tint - it gives you rose-colored lip or cheek.
14. CHANEL LIPSTICK - I always use this color - 65 - INSOLENTE

HOW TO DO A SIMPLE DOLL EYE MAKEUP

I'm sorry for my messy hair :)

1. Apply Concealer to cover all the dark circles and to give more bright in your eyes.
2. Apply your eyeshadow primer that will hold your eyeshadow for an all day look.

3. Apply your eyeshadow base. I went for The Balm Nude'Tude's Stand-offish first, which is light glittery pink then, I topped it with Sassy color that is color white.
4. Next, apply magenta or pink eyeshadow on your crease. Pat it on your crease then brush it back and forth. To achieve its best result, I recommend you use a eye crease brush.
5. Thinly apply a white eyeshadow a little under your eyeliner.

6. Curl up your eyelashes. I curl up my lashes three times to achieve the best result.
7. Apply your liquid eyeliner.
8. Brush off your eyelashes with a mascara. You have to look a little bit downwards then apply mascara on a zigzag formation. I apply mascara three times also to attain the dramatic look.

This how it looks like after applying the eyeliner and mascara :)

9. Apply your False Eye Lashes.
10. Apply again a white eyeshadow a little bit under your eyeliner.
11. Lastly, brush off with a mascara your lower eyelashes three times.

This is how it looks like after applying the false eyelashes.
